Steel Table with Oak Legs
Steel Table with Oak Legs The legs were comprised of provided turned oak 'end grain’ offcuts, which were then glued and clamped into identical columns. This meant that effectively the whole exterior surface of each leg should have a uniform realistic end grain pattern. This was further enhanced by hand painting more grain on, providing an overall effect. These were then stained and fixed to bases.
