Gold Marbled Quartz Table, Gold Electroplated Steel I achieved the striated gold layered effect in the resin base by applying and building up many thin layers of transparent two part resin. I then applied and dragged ‘veins' of very fine gold dust within each wet layer, then waited for the surface to gel, before then applying the next layer. The resulting layered block routed and shaped to give a marbled quartz effect.
