Exploration Tree (Interactive Museum Display)
Exploration Tree (Interactive museum display) I initially sculpted a smaller scaled tree in clay to be used as a measuring reference for the full sized tree. This was constructed from sheets of tree-textured fibreglass, which was embellished with poly-carved elements, which were filled and covered in fibreglass, sculpted filler and resin. These were all fitted around a large cylindrical steel frame, along with an internal ‘exploration’ tunnel. The project was later put together and artworked on site.
